Job Description

Care Support Worker – Help People Live Their Best Lives Every Day

Do you love making a difference? Are you someone who brings warmth, compassion, and positive energy wherever you go? Join Peabody as a Care Support Worker and become a vital part of helping people live independently, confidently, and with dignity.

This is more than a job – it’s a chance to build a meaningful career while making a real impact every day. You don’t need previous care experience. If you have the right attitude, a kind heart, and a willingness to learn, we’ll provide the training and support you need. You’ll be joining a friendly, close‑knit team who will guide you, support your development, and help you succeed.

In this role, you’ll support people with everyday tasks, personal care, and activities they enjoy, helping them feel safe, valued, and heard. Whether you’re encouraging hobbies, supporting independence, or simply being a kind, consistent presence, the difference you make will be felt every day. No two days are the same, and every moment counts.

This role is 37.5 hours per week, working on a rota of 5 days out of 7.

We’re looking for people who are compassionate, reliable, and flexible, with a genuine passion for helping others. You’ll need to be comfortable working as part of a team and able to adapt to a 24/7 rota, including days, weekends, and waking night shifts. Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and respect for diversity are essential.

A full, clean UK manual driving licence is required, as you may need to drive a mobility vehicle. An enhanced DBS check will also be needed.

In return, you’ll benefit from ongoing training, opportunities to gain recognised qualifications, and the chance to develop a long‑term career in care and support. Most importantly, you’ll be part of an organisation that values what you do and supports you to make a real difference every day.

If you’re ready to start a rewarding role where you can change lives – including your own – we’d love to hear from you.
