Domiciliary Care Assistant – Burton, Swadlincote & Surrounding Areas

Job Description

Luxuricare is a local home care (domiciliary care) provider looking for experienced Care Assistants to support people in their own homes across Burton upon Trent, Swadlincote and the surrounding villages. You will visit clients in the community, helping with personal care, medication support, meals and companionship.

What we offer:

£16.00 per hour

Double time (£32.00 per hour) on all bank holidays, including Christmas and New Year

35p per business mile

Uniform provided

Hours: Zero-hours contract. Regular staff work a rotating two-week rota (around 3.5 days a week): Week 1 – Tuesday all day, Friday tea and bed calls, Saturday and Sunday all day. Week 2 – Monday, Wednesday and Thursday all day, Friday daytime calls. Bank/ad-hoc carers are also welcome – give your availability about 2 weeks ahead and we confirm the work offered (no guaranteed hours).

What you need:

Previous experience as a care worker (home care or residential), able to start soon

Full UK driving licence (essential – you will travel between calls)

Your own vehicle with business-use motor insurance (essential)

Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check including the Adults’ Barred List

Good communication skills and able to keep clear, accurate care records
