The Job
Live in carer required 1 week every 4 weeks ongoing to provide respite care for an elderly lady with moderate dementia. Currently Lily is being cared for by family who are looking for more support to continue home care.
A care assistant is already in place and helps Lily for an hour every weekday with her morning get up routine of shower, dressing and breakfast. This will continue during the week you would be providing care.
Duties would include, meal preparation, toileting assistance, bedtime routine, companionship and morning routine on a weekend. All equipment required for care is already in place.
This is a private contract and you would be working on a self-employed basis.
Start date 14th October.
You
– Fully qualified carer (certificate or above)
– Current DBS
– Minimum of 1 year care experience.
