Position Overview
Role: Care Assistant (Days)
Hours: Full Time (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3 shifts per week, including alternate weekends)
Pay Rate: £13.62 per hour
Role Summary
As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being are met. You will play a key role in promoting independence, dignity, and a high quality of life for all residents within the care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assist residents with daily personal hygiene, washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting needs while respecting their privacy and dignity.
Care Delivery: Support residents with mobility needs, safe transfer techniques, and the use of specialized equipment as required.
Nutritional Support: Assist residents during mealtimes, ensuring dietary requirements, preferences, and nutritional care plans are properly met.
Well-being & Companionship: Engage residents in meaningful conversations, social activities, and hobbies to support their emotional health and reduce social isolation.
Care Planning & Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date daily care records, report any changes in a resident’s physical or mental condition promptly to senior staff, and adhere to care plans.
Health & Safety: Follow all health, safety, and infection control policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for both residents and staff.
