Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Personal Assistant to support a young disabled lady in her daily life.
As a PA, you support your employer at home, while travelling, and onboard a sailing yacht. This is a very personal, human role, focused on enabling independence, comfort, and a good quality of life.
What the role is about
You will help with everyday life, including:
- Being a practical and social support at home or while travelling
- Supporting relationships with family and friends, and meeting new people
- Helping get out and about in the community, on trips or holidays
- Supporting hobbies, interests and activities
- Providing personal care (washing, dressing, showering)
- Helping with meals, light household tasks and day‑to‑day organisation
- Accompanying to appointments when needed
The role is split between time at a private residence and time travelling, including sailing, so it suits someone flexible, open‑minded and a little adventurous.
About you
You don’t need formal caring qualifications. What matters most is:
- A willingness to learn and adapt
- A calm, kind and respectful attitude
- Flexibility and common sense
- A good sense of humour
- Comfort with close, hands‑on support
Interest in travel and life on the water is a plusTraining and guidance will be provided – past experience is helpful, but not essential.
