Job Overview:
We are looking for a caring and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support individuals in care homes and home care environments. This is a paid, full-time role ideal for candidates who are passionate about delivering quality care and improving the well-being of others. Training will be provided for suitable applicants.
A valid UK driving license is required to support travel between care locations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
– Support residents with mobility and safe transfers
– Help with meal preparation and feeding
– Provide companionship and emotional support
– Administer medication in line with care plans (training provided)
– Maintain accurate care records and documentation
– Observe and report changes in health or behaviour
– Support activities promoting social engagement
– Ensure compliance with health and safety standard
Requirements:
– Care experience preferred but not essential (training provided)
– Good verbal and written English communication skills
– Basic IT skills for record-keeping
– Valid UK driving license preferred
– Compassionate, patient, and able to work as part of a team
– Right to work full time in the UK (Dependent or Graduate Visa)
