About Me – Rachel
Hi! I’m Rachel. I was born in 1988 and I’m a chatty, friendly and sociable person. I love spending time with my family and my two dogs, eating pizza (especially out with my family!), browsing charity shops, going on holidays with my Support Worker, watching TV, and playing Candy Crush on my iPad.

I have mild Cerebral Palsy, poor motor coordination, and severe learning difficulties. I sometimes get anxious when I’m out and about, and I need help staying safe, especially when crossing roads.

What I’m Looking For
I’m looking for someone kind, calm, and enthusiastic to support me at home and in the community. You’ll help me with everyday tasks, encourage me to try new activities, and promote my independence. Sometimes I may need help with personal care too.

You’ll be guided by my family and Case Manager to make sure I get the best care possible. If you’ve worked with vulnerable adults before, especially in their homes or out in the community, that’s a bonus!

Pay and Benefits
£16.13 per hour (weekends)
Paid mileage when using your own car for work
Ongoing training and support
5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)
Free DBS check
Induction and relevant training (including The Care Certificate)
Regular supervision and support from my Case Manager and HR team

Requirements for the Role
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
Satisfactory references (including your last employer)
Enhanced DBS check (a conviction won’t necessarily prevent employment)
Business insurance for your vehicle
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting my wellbeing

Sound Like You?
