About Candidate
I am a caring, patient, and reliable individual with hands-on experience supporting people both in home and clinical settings. I am trained as a Nurse Aide with St John Ambulance and have practical experience providing personal care, emotional support, and assistance with daily living activities.
I have worked as a Volunteer Nurse Aide in a healthcare environment, supporting patients with personal hygiene, mobility, meal assistance, and monitoring vital signs under supervision. I am confident in maintaining accurate records, observing changes in condition, and reporting concerns promptly to senior staff. I also understand the importance of infection control, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
In addition, I have many years of home-based caregiving experience, providing compassionate long-term and end-of-life care to family members with chronic illnesses. This involved bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication support, companionship, and maintaining a calm and dignified environment.
I am empathetic, respectful, and committed to helping individuals maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life within their own homes. I am reliable, flexible, and eager to continue developing my skills in the UK care sector. I am currently able to work part-time (up to 20 hours per week) and am open to community care roles.
