Infinite Care Network Ltd is a CQC-registered home care provider looking for an experienced, compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to support a client in their own home in Sutton (SM6).

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience supporting individuals who have experienced a stroke and who can encourage an active, healthy and independent lifestyle.

Position Details

Location: Sutton (SM6)
Pay: £16 per hour
Hours: Approximately 24–26 hours per week
Working days: Monday to Saturday
Position: Part-time
Flexible working arrangements may be considered
Payments made every two weeks
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care.
Support with personal care and daily routines.
Assist with mobility and daily living activities.
Encourage regular walks, gentle exercise and physical activity appropriate to the client’s abilities and care plan.
Support individuals recovering from a stroke, promoting confidence, independence and well-being.
Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals according to the client’s preferences and dietary needs.
Provide companionship, conversation and emotional reassurance.
Encourage participation in meaningful activities and daily routines.
Assist with light household tasks.
Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns.
Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
Essential Requirements

Previous experience in domiciliary care or a similar care setting.
Experience supporting clients following a stroke is highly desirable.
Confidence in supporting safe mobility, walking and appropriate exercise.
Good cooking skills and the ability to prepare healthy home-cooked meals.
A compassionate, patient, positive and professional approach.
Good communication skills and spoken English.
Reliability, punctuality and commitment to providing consistent care.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
Ability to travel reliably to Sutton (SM6).
