About the Role
We’re recruiting Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes across the Cambridge and Newmarket area, including council-funded, private, and live-in care packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, bathing, toileting)
- Supporting with medication prompts/administration
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking
- Light domestic duties (tidying, laundry, changing bed linen)
- Supporting mobility and helping with mobility aids where needed
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Accompanying clients to appointments or on outings where required
- Accurately recording visit notes and reporting any changes in a client’s condition
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, patient, and dependable nature
- Good communication skills
- Own transport preferred, due to travel between visits across Cambridge/Newmarket
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential — full training given
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
