Part-time Evening Community Carers – Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Community Carers to join our friendly domiciliary care team, providing support to clients in their own homes across Colchester and the surrounding areas.
Our Community Carer role combines personal care, practical support and companionship, with the aim of helping our clients remain independent and maintain their quality of life in their own homes.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting clients with washing, dressing and personal care
Supporting clients with toileting, including use of the WC or commode
Emptying and cleaning commodes
Assisting with meal planning and preparation
Supporting clients with shopping and household tasks
Providing medication support where required
Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
Supporting clients with catheter care, including emptying and changing catheter bags, in accordance with training and appropriate hygiene procedures
Encouraging and supporting clients to maintain their independence wherever possible

Female only and comfortable providing personal care
Able to work independently and as part of a team
A driver with access to your own reliable vehicle
Willing to work evening shifts
Previous care experience is desirable, although full training may be provided for the right candidate.
