Part Time – 3 Days Per Week
Location: Braintree
Salary: £18,000 to £19,000

Monday–Wednesday or 3 fixed days per week

We are looking for an experienced and engaging Health & Social Care Trainer to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in social care who enjoys delivering practical, meaningful training that supports staff development, compliance, and quality of care.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering and supporting training across our care services, ensuring staff are equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and compliance standards required within the sector.

This is a hands-on role focused on training delivery, staff support, and maintaining high compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mandatory and practical training to care staff
  • Support new starter inductions
  • Monitor training compliance and completion
  • Support staff completing accredited qualifications
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation
  • Assist with the development of training materials and learning resources
  • Work closely with operational managers to identify training needs
  • Promote a positive learning culture across the organisation

What We Are Looking For:

Essential:

  • Experience working within Health & Social Care
  • Previous experience delivering training
  • Good understanding of compliance within the care sector
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Organised and able to manage training schedules effectively
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and online learning systems

Desirable:

  • Training qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent)
  • Assessor qualification
  • Experience supporting accredited qualifications
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and mandatory training requirements
